WRC's SmartMux family
provides more options
for connecting to
distributed I/O than
any other I/O component
or systems manufacturer

WRC1-SmartDump

In 1999 WRC completed a special version of the WRC1, called SmartDump. On January 5th. 2000, WRC formally introduced SmartDump to the press.
SmartDump provides client security access and control of dumpster compactors in high-volume facilities such as malls. It registers usage by client for future billing purposes. It provides remote, automatic dial-in, dial-out phone-line communications to dispatchers advising them when to pick-up full dumpsters or when error conditions exist such as a malfunction.
SmartDump and related products can be used in a wide variety of stand-alone material handling applications such as water and waste distribution, electrical power distribution, and oil and gas wells.

SmartMux - A Versatile Family of I/O SOLUTIONS

The family consists of four styles with many choices within each style. The styles consist of:

SmartMux for low-cost, versatile I/O applications supporting Allen-Bradley's Remote I/O Link, Modbus, Optomux, and WRC's proprietary SmartMux protocols.

Power Supplies for SmartMux

SmartMux-Lite for highly distributed, low-cost, low-point count DeviceNet solutions as well as special purpose models for high speed counting applications.

SmartMux-Plus the latest, most extensive DeviceNet or Modbus solution for analog, discrete and ASCII I/O applications.

SmartDump a specialty version of WRC1

SmartPMux for high speed analog or discrete I/O on a Pamux network.

ISA-bus

WRC's line of PC-Based Data Collection Boards for the ISA-bus provide a number of economical options:

1781-PXB241 (3pg/276K) provides a 24 point parallel interface between digital I/O and PC compatible computers. Each point can be independently configured for inputs or outputs.

1781-PXB481 provides for COS interrupts on the 48 point card.
I/O is configured in blocks of 8.

1781-PXB721 is a 72 point card where the points
are configured in groups of 8.

1781-PXB1201 is a 120 point card where the points
are configured in groups of 8.
