| Measurement Specialties Torque Sensors |
Our non-contact torque sensors utilize magnetic or inductive technology to provide accurate measurements at high rotational speeds. They do not use slip rings and provide long maintenance-free operation.
Our rotary torque sensors are commonly used for in-line applications on rotating shafts. They offer excellent immunity to electromagnetic fields and provide high accurate and reliable measurements. Different connection types are available on request. Measurement Specialties offers operating ranges from 2 N.m to 7000 N.m. |
| Measurement Specialties Torque Sensor - CD1140 |

CD1140 |
Applications: Dynamic applications, Process control equipment, Test and Measurement, Robotics and effectors, Laboratory and Research
Datasheet: CD1140
Description: The CD 1140 family of torque sensors offers a rugged but small package size as well as many mounting configurations so as to provide excellent measurements in both industrial and laboratory environments. The contactless transmission of supply voltage and measuring signal facilitates continuous operation with low wear and no slip ring service. The CD1140 is also available with optional speed or angle detection (but not both). With many years of experience as a designer and manufacturer of sensors, Measurement Specialties often works with customers to design or customize sensors for specific uses and testing environments. To meet your needs we also offer complete turnkey systems. The matched components (sensor, power, amplifier and digital display) are formatted, calibrated and ready for immediate use.
Features:
- Ranges from 0.05 to 20,000 Nm (0.04 to 16,000 Lbf-ft)
- High Accuracy
- Single Supply Voltage
- Built-in Amplifier
- Low Moment of Inertia
- Small Outline
- Speed and Angle Detection (Option)

| Measurement Specialties Torque Sensor - CD1050 |

CD1050 |
Applications: Dynamic applications, Process control equipment, Test and Measurement, Robotics and effectors, Laboratory and Research
Datasheet: CD1050
Description: The CD1050 Series has been developed to be mounted on rotating shafts for rotary torque measurements. Constructed in stainless steel, the sensor is suitable for use in many hostile environments. Fitted with metallic strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge circuit, the CD1050 is providing excellent temperature stability. For high-level output a model with integrated amplifier is available.
Features:
- Ranges from: ±5 Nm to ±7,000 Nm (±4 Lbf-ft to ±5,600 Lbf-ft)
- For Dynamic Applications
- Square Male Couplings
- High Level Output Model with Integrated Amplifier

| Measurement Specialties Torque Sensor - CD1095 |

CD1095 |
Applications: Dynamic applications, Process control equipment, Test and Measurement, Robitics and effectors, Laboratory and Research
Datasheet: CD1095
Description: The CD1095 has been designed to measure in-line torque on rotating shafts. Its sensing element is based on thin layer strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge configuration providing excellent temperature stability. Optionally the torque sensor can receive an on-board amplifier for high level output. Intermediate ranges are available at no extra cost. Consult Measurement-Specialties’ Engineering Department if the standard options do not meet your needs or should your application require a more comprehensive measurement system.
Features:
- Ranges from ±5 to ±2,500 Nm (±4 to 2,000 Lbf-ft)
- For Dynamic Applications
- Keyed Shaft Mechanical Connection
- High Level Output Model with Integrated Amplifier

| Measurement Specialties Torque Sensor - CD1110 |

CD1110 |
Applications: Low range dynamic applications, Process control equipment, Test and Measurement, Robotics and Effectors, Laboratory and Research
Datasheet: CD1110
Description: The CD1110 series of dynamic torque sensors have extremely low operating ranges protected by mechanical stops permitting an overload of 10 times the F.S. measurement range. The rugged design provides accurate bidirectional torque measurements of rotating components up to 2000 rpm. Optionally the CD1110 can receive an on-board amplifier for high level voltage output. Signal amplification is accomplished before transmission via the slip ring assembly, thus eliminating the noise generated by the contacts. It is also possible to eliminate the contact residual drag torque by placing the transducer sensing element directly in contact with the torque to be measured.
Features:
- Ranges from ±0.05 to ±2 Nm (±0.04 to ±1.6 Lbf-ft)
- Integrated Mechanical Stops
- Keyed Shaft Mechanical Connection
- High Level Output Model with Integrated Amplifier
